ANAHEIM, CA – Our hearts break with the news of the attack on The Tree of Life Or L’Simcha Synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Covenant of the Goddess grieves for the families and friends of victims killed and offer our love and support to those injured. To the first responders who risked their lives capturing the shooter and saving lives, we send our deepest thanks.

The Covenant of the Goddess is a community that envisions a world where all living beings are honored and cherished as manifestations of the Sacred. Therefore, we stand with our Jewish brothers and sisters in love and unity against anti-Semitic hatred and violence.

These gentle souls of The Tree of Life Or L’Simcha Synagogue  — Joyce Feinberg, 75, Richard Gottfried, 65, Rose Mallinger, 97, Jerry Rabinowitz, 66, Cecil Rosenthal, 59, David Rosenthal, 54, Bernice Simon, 84, Sylvan Simon, 86, Daniel Stein, 71, Melvin Wax, 88, and Irving Younger, 69 — will be remembered.
